We are experienced real estate advisors providing our clients with strategic insights to optimize development execution and placemaking through focused research & analysis on all product types.

Role

We are hiring for a full-time Senior Vice President to start immediately in Chicago, IL. Candidate will be responsible for business development and leading the regional advisory practice in the Midwest region.  The ideal candidate will have extensive knowledge of real estate development strategies, be a self‐starter, extremely organized and be able to sell, generate, lead, and conduct advisory assignments. Candidate will be in a fast‐paced work environment, and should have ability to work independently, manage shifting priorities, and multi‐task to meet deadlines.  A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected and encouraged and excellent relationships within the residential and commercial real estate development markets and Wall Street real estate funds are required.

Responsibilities

  • Business Development leader targeted at selling advisory services to homebuilders, land
    developers, capital sources, the public sector, and other target clients
  • Consistent and in‐depth interaction with prospective clients and industry professionals
    through in‐person meetings and other points of contact
  • Regional spokesperson for the firm as evidenced by attending and speaking
    engagements at key industry events, and interacting with various media sources
  • Conduct market feasibility and strategic analyses for lenders/capital partners, builders
    and land developers to advise them in acquiring and/or developing profitable real estate
    investments
  • Responsible for the final deliverable – written analysis, along with great visual reports
    that include data tables, graphs, and charts
  • Prepare and present findings to client in verbal and written form

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in real estate field, business or economics; Advanced degree a plus
  • Minimum 15 years of real estate market research experience, analysis and field work or
    equivalent years of extensive industry‐related experience that is transferable to this
    platform
  • Work with all levels of personnel professionally
  • Manage a team of analysts
  • Advanced software skills: PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Outlook
  • Organized, reliable, trustworthy, dedicated individual
